The fluid draining went well. They got 1.2 liters! A lot. She is already looking better and has a little more spirits. And was actually asking for food! Amazing. It’s the little things. 🙂
She’s hooked up to the blood and everything seems to be ok there. Hopefully she will get out tomorrow.
Love to all.

I finally got accepted at this site. I have had so much difficulty trying to get registered. I think this is the fifth time I have tried….but, Liz, you know how technology illiterate I am. I am so sorry that all of these problems have been happening at Christmastime. But I am sending you happy thoughts and wishes for having a great and happy new year.
Well, you would think after 38 years of teaching I could retire. Rich and I have become the proud parents of our 2 year old granddaughter. You know Jessica always had so many problems in high school. Well, it continued after high school too. But, I didn’t join DROP because of this this year. But, Emma Leigh Patterson, our granddaughter is a blessing. She made Christmas very enjoyable this year. Of course, Santa brought her too……too much! Now I have to find room for everything. It’s just work…but sometimes I think that I am getting too old for all of this. If you are able, text me back. I would love to hear from you or see you. I am thankful for the info that I get to read from Erin. Your children are so lucky and you are so blessed to have them. You did Good with them! It was a priviledge to get to meet them (after I had heard so much about them growing up) at your birthday party. Love you and keep smiling. Terri Patterson
