Heaven has another angel
It is with a heavy heart that I write this. My mother passed away yesterday, January 30th, at 12:52pm. She was surrounded by love and died peacefully with Ramon and I next to her telling her how much we loved her and how amazing she was. She had seen Thomas in the morning and had given him a hug and a kiss and an “I love you” in sign language. I.. Read More
Update
I’m not creative enough at the moment to come up with another title for these… Also, I hope you guys get an email notification about this post. I think I have all the settings right on it… I just thought I would give everyone a little update on where we are at with everything. I got to Florida this past Saturday to be with my mom and help out with things… Read More
Need a little help
I hope everyone had a great long weekend! I’m reaching out to solicit some help from you all. Ramon has a couple days that he goes out throughout the week for a couple hours to play dominos and to teach his Spanish class. My mom is not at a point where she NEEDS someone to come be there. She can do things for herself. She can walk and take her meds,.. Read More
Update

As you know over the holidays my mom was in and out of the hospital to get a blood transfusion, to drain the fluid from her lung, and ultimately to have a catheter placed in her lung. When she went to see her oncologist the first week in January, he took a look at the cat scan she had done while she.. Read More

When she went to Deerfield to get the XGeva shot (makes her.. Read More
Home again
Hey all! I’m late on this post. Sorry about that! She came back home Saturday afternoon, after waiting to be discharged for 6 hours. Go Jupiter Medical. Her color is back and she has some energy back. So hopefully she can use this time, before the next round of chemo, to eat and build her strength. Thanks for all your love and support.
Fluid is drained and blood is being transfused.
The fluid draining went well. They got 1.2 liters! A lot. She is already looking better and has a little more spirits. And was actually asking for food! Amazing. It’s the little things. 🙂 She’s hooked up to the blood and everything seems to be ok there. Hopefully she will get out tomorrow. Love to all.
